Since 1985, Tom and Ann Taylor have built and operated a marine resort in Greenway Sound, Broughton Island, BC, that served tourist yachts in the summers. The resort became quite popular and today is a respected destination marina located between Sullivan Bay and Echo Bay.
Now, because of serious health concerns the facility must pass to new, stronger owners. Ann has multiple severe spinal issues, and Tom, well into his 70s, has new physical limitations.
As of January 1, 2010, the decision has been made to leave the facility closed for this coming summer, unless new owners and operators can be put in place in time to open it.
Greenway Sound Marine Resort is actively for sale. The facilities are in overall good condition, and have many desirable features. The resort could continue to serve yachts, or become a float home community, a fish farm, an eco-tour base, or any of a number of other combinations yet to be considered.
We are prepared to assist interested principals and operators. Most likely, the resort will go to a small combination of investors and an operator family.
We welcome interviews with those who would like to professionally assist in creating and culminating a sale, such as real estate agents, attorneys, auctioneers, accountants, and other businesspersons. Anyone interested in potentially participating in this transaction should contact Tom and Ann Taylor.
