Bellingham, Anacortes, Mt. Vernon to/from Greenway Sound Marine Resort by driving to Vancouver SOUTH Airport.

Northbound. Pacific Coastal leaves Vancouver South Terminal at mid-day to Campbell River. That flight connects to Corilair's 3:00 PM flight to Greenway Sound Marine Resort. It is an easy drive, and parking is available.

Southbound. Take Vancouver Island Air from Greenway Sound Marine Resort at 10:30 AM, connecting to Pacific Coastal from Campbell River to Vancouver South Terminal in the afternoon.

Another Option. Consider a wheel plane charter from San Juan/West Isle (800-974-4434) from Anacortes Airport or Bellingham Airport to Campbell River Airport. Take the Campbell River Airporter (250-286-3000) to Tyee Spit and fly Vancouver Island Air or Corilair floatplanes to Greenway Sound Marine Resort. (See below for times) For three passengers or more, this is usually cost-effective and faster. This also works well Southbound.

TO/FROM VANCOUVER:
There is no direct float plane service at this time from Vancouver to Greenway Sound Marine Resort. It is more practical to take a plane to Campbell River and connect with a local seaplane (see above) to Greenway Sound Marine Resort. From Greenway Sound Marine Resort to Vancouver it is the same.

Pacific Coastal Airlines (1-800-663-2872) flies to Campbell River several times a day from the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport. The South Terminal is easier to access for local "Vancouverites," especially for parking. There is van service to the main terminal if you are taking a connecting flight or the Airporter Bus to downtown or Quick-as-Air Bus to Bellingham. Allow at least 30 minutes for van service, and let them know in advance.

Who Flies To and From Vancouver?
There is a marvelous webpage at http://www.yvr.ca/flightinfo/destinations.asp that shows every city served through Vancouver Airport, and the carriers that offer the service.

ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN "B". Fog and other "gremlins" can delay floatplanes occasionally. Also, all flying is subject to interruptions. So be sure to leave enough time for changes of plans should they be needed. That way, you know your flights will be perfect. These flights go through some of the best scenery in the world. Enjoy!
