Unsolvable health issues force the original founders and owners, Tom and Ann Taylor, to put Greenway Sound Marina up for sale, as they can no longer physically operate the facility.

Greenway Sound Marina was created from a bare bay by Tom & Ann Taylor, starting in 1985. The purpose is to serve visiting yachts during the summer season. Greenway Sound Marina offers many services which are described in this website. The restaurant is especially good, making Greenway Sound Marina a must-stop for most boaters. Unlimited fresh water, good continuous shore power, clean restrooms, showers and laundry, garbage service, long, red-carpeted docks, and an interesting park all bring in boaters. A grocery store with uniquely fresh produce and dairy makes Greenway Sound Marina a good provisioning point. There are lots of good reasons for boaters to come to Greenway Sound Marina.

A typical season starts in late May, and runs until just after Labor Day. It takes a minimum of four persons to work a season, and it is better with six staff members, including management.

Tom & Ann are looking for a buyer who can take over the facility and carry on with the established business, and can enhance the operation with new services, new concepts, and new enthusiasm. Develop a floating home community.
Expand into eco-tours or nature groups.
Become a kayak facility.
Become a fish farm, especially to raise smolts.
