Greenway Sound Marina is an all-floating facility. In Canada, no one can own the salt water or the tidelands below the surface. Everyone that has a facility on the water must lease their site from the Province, and pay rent for it. There are fixed terms for the duration of the lease, typically ten years, but then it is automatically renewable for new terms, as long as the rent is paid. It is called “a bankable foreshore lease.” For more information, contact Land & Water BC in Nanaimo. Our current lease expires March 2, 2008. Greenway Sound Marina owns no adjoining land, as it is too steep, but the foreshore lease covers close to 6 acres of water. There is a fine woodsy park with lakes nearby for land recreational activities.

Greenway Sound Marina is a private entity, so to protect our privacy from our competitors, sales and expense figures are not offered on this website. Once we know you are a genuine prospect to buy Greenway Sound Marina, and we know you have made a commitment to provide a substantial investment, plus you are a Canadian citizen, or can pass Canadian Immigration requirements, we will provide those figures.
